Please note that a child who is age 2 by 8/1/2024 is eligible to register for the Sandlot Division. Age for each division is determined by the player’s age on 8/1/24.


Registration Fee Includes:

  • Uniform, insurance, photo package, and umpire fees
  • Participation trophies for Sandlot/6U division, 1st & 2nd place trophies for top 2 division teams
  • Tiered pricing due to number of umpires required for games
  • Must be paid in FULL to receive early bird discount  
  • No refunds after evaluations 
  • $10 sibling discount

Snack Bar Buyout
EVERYONE will be required to register and pay for their snack bar deposit. You may still pay for your fees by check.  You will be offered an option to work your shifts to earn you money back, but if you do not sign-up for the volunteer shifts by the deadline (to be communicated before Opening day), you are assumed to incur a buyout and we will schedule replacement workers for you.  Just a reminder that if you do not show/call for your required volunteer shifts a $25 fee is added to your account to pay someone to work for you.

Online Registration
Online registration runs from October 21st  through January 18th. If you are coaching or managing, make sure you sign yourself up with

Walk-up Registration Dates / Uniform Fittings

Evaluations / Uniform Fittings 
Mandatory player evaluations (except Sandlot & 6U) are being held on Saturday, January 18th, 2024.  Players that do not evaluate will not be eligible for a draft and will be assigned to a team using a random 'fish bowl' selection.

Uniform fittings will take place at all walk-up registrations - see schedule above.

Fields
WGGSL practices will be held at Enders Elementary School in Garden Grove.  This facility offers the convenience of six well-maintained softball fields available for practices and games, two on-site batting cages, a fully stocked snack bar, and plenty of open grass area.

If you would like to volunteer to serve as a head coach or manager in the Spring 2025 season, please complete the WGGSL Coach/Manager Application form by clicking on the link below and selecting the Volunteer button.  Please remember that WGGSL is run entirely by volunteers, and we are always in need of parents to make the commitment to coach or manage.
