We faced some awesome competition that put things into perspective and gave us that defensive work we needed. The championship game was definately what we as a team needed right before districts. Simi Valley certainly made us work for it and were not giving it up without a fight. You kept pushing and didn't let up. With a run coming in at the bottom of the 7th inning we won with a final score of 3-2. Wow talk about a great game.......we are proud of you.  Let's keep working hard and ready to bring it!!! See you all on Tuesday. Once again.....great job!!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!

What can we say right now.... You ladies were able to work through the grueling schedule of late night games, then early games and on top of it....dreadful heat!! Those bats woke up when we needed it most this weekend- great job ladies. Way to win another one. Let's keep staying strong and working hard as a TEAM. Let's build the skills, bring the bats and keep positive and focused. Most of all...........let's make a difference!!! We are very proud of you all!!!

Special thanks to Grampa Andy who bought the whole team TCBY frozen yogurts at the "almost end" of the championship game!!! (wink wink) They were yummy!!!!!!!! Also- thanks to all the parents that brought the food and drinks for the day!!!!! You guys rock.

You did it again ladies and made it to Championship Sunday!!!!!!! Great job ladies- we are all so excited to see your improvement each weekend. Again, you only allowed 2 runs this tournament...awesome!!! Keep staying focused, keep working hard and pushing yourselves to get better with each game. Remember- make the difference and keep your head up. This is a team effort all around.

Wow what a weekend. The bats have woken up....whoo hoo!!! Way to represent West Grove with 45 runs scored and only 2 runs allowed the whole weekend. Nice job ladies!!!

The coaching staff has been taken notes this weekend on the things we still need to improve on- so enjoy the day off tomorrow (Monday) and we'll see you back on Tuesday to work hard and keep getting better as a team. Great job this weekend ladies. Very proud of you.

Nice job this weekend ladies. You came in 1st in your pool and ended up bringing home the bling. With two intense games on Championship Sunday you all pulled it off. Great pitching and defensive plays made it happen. We are all very proud of you ladies. Keep playing hard and supporting each other. We can only get better with each game we play.

Let's work on those bats and bring it to the Scripps tournament. See you all at practice tomorrow to continue growing as a team and building our strengths all around.
